History
Our GTi was bought in October 2001 through a procurement agent, from Ames VW in Dordrecht, Holland for £13100 by its original and only owner. It still has its original invoice of sale and the original German certificate of conformity (Ubereinstimmungsbescheinigung)
It was then bought back to London where our lady owner kept it for the next 21 years amassing just 33000 miles!!
The service book is full, showing 8 service stamps

The Drive
As you would imagine, considering the mileage, it drives pretty much as new!! Everything is tight and precise. The 2 litre 8v motor is as smooth as silk as is the gearbox. The suspension has no creaks or groans and the brakes pull the car up smoothly with no judders or squeals. We have driven countless Mk4s over the years and we can honestly say, we cant remember driving one as nice as this one for a very long time!!!

Exterior
The bodywork is in lovely condition, the Black paintwork gleams and there is zero rust in the body. All badges and trim are present and correct and the Avus alloys are all in excellent order.
Interior
Inside, again, is in superb condition. The grey and black sports seats are free from damage and show almost no signs of wear, all the carpets are spot on as are all the plastics.
Our GTi also benefits from winter pack and cruise control.

Conclusion
So summing up, this is an incredible example of an appreciating modern classic. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find really nice examples of a MK4 GTi, let alone a 3 door one that has only done 33000 miles, add the fact that it has only ever had 1 owner and you have a very special car indeed!
The car has just undergone a full paintwork and interior detail, as do all of our cars, and is looking absolutely stunning. It will also come with 12 months MOT and a fresh service.
