Vehicle Description
At Cult Classics, we are big fans of a fast wagon, especially when it has those three magical letters on the tailgate, AMG.
Which is why, we’re very proud to present for sale, this 2006 W211 E63 AMG estate.

The Car
Presented in Designo Silver with Black interior, our E63 is showing just 83112 miles recorded and has had 4 previous owners, it is in extremely nice condition throughout and features a full service history.

The History
It’s very clear that the E63s 4 previous custodians have all played their part in keeping it performing at it’s best, this is proved by the service documentation and service book, showing services carried out at…
23/07/2007 @ 12579 miles
17/11/2008 @ 24914 Miles
02/10/2010 @ 35326 Miles
11/10/2012 @ 45447 Miles
20/06/2014 @ 50983 Miles
09/06/2016 @ 60492 Miles
31/05/2017 @ 65336 Miles
28/08/2020 @ 73890 Miles
17/09/2021 @ 79290 Miles
31/10/2023 @ 83112 Miles
The final service has been carried out by our in house team as part of the big Mercs pre sale preparation. This has included a thorough inspection, fresh oil and filters, new front discs and pads, using the correct 2 piece Brembo discs, and 4 new Continental Sport Contact tyres.

The Exterior
The E63 is in extremely good order, in fact it is very easy to forget that it is approaching its 18th birthday!
The Designo Silver paintwork is deep and glossy and is free from any ugly dents or scratches, there are, of course a few insignificant imperfections, as you would expect but overall it presents beautifully and could easily pass for a car a fraction of its age.
All the badges and trim are in superb order and the headlights are bright and clear with none of the usual hazing. Even the mesh grilles at the front, which are prone to damage, usually by rouge stones or wild animals crossing the road with a death wish, are in near perfect condition.
The wheels are in excellent condition and appear to have been fairly recently refurbished, there is a small nick to the edge of the nearside front but this is the only mark on them. They are also shod in a brand new set of Continental Sport Contact tyres all round.

The Interior
The cabin of our AMG is certainly a credit to its previous owners, everywhere you look inside, it is clear that it has been used respectfully and with care throughout its life.
The gorgeous perforated black leather seats are all damage free with just the lightest of wear showing on the driver’s side bolster. The carpets, again are mark free, including throughout the boot. All the plastics and door cards are free from any discernible wear and tear, the same goes for the headlining.
There is an enviable spec list including heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, folding mirrors, keyless entry and start, satellite navigation, automatic lights and wipers, electric sunroof and power tailgate, to name but a few
It also has the very rare Mercedes rear monitor fitted but we could not get this to function, everything else however, works perfectly.

The Mechanicals and Drive
The drivetrain package is, of course, what this savage estate is all about and it’s not hard to imagine why, when shoehorned under the unassuming front end is a 6.2 litre naturally aspirated V8 pumping out 514 bhp.
Mated to the super smooth 7G-Tronic automatic gearbox, you can drive the E63 around town in the gentle serenity you would expect of any E class Mercedes. Pull the trigger, however and the E63 will catapult you at the horizon at a near ballistic pace! Have no doubt, even by todays standards, the W211 E63 is a monstrously fast estate car!
And the sound, it is just sublime! Again it can pootle around with just a gentle burble being emitted from its 4 oval tailpipes but hit the loud pedal and it sounds like a NASCAR at full attack!
Our particular E63 still displays all these attributes in spade fulls and drives like a car with a fraction of its already low mileage. On the several test drives we have done (probably more than were actually necessary!) we have found absolutely no mechanical faults, it truly is an epic vehicle to drive.

The Conclusion
When it comes to high performance estates, few cars can match the incredible power and pace of an E63 AMG and this is a lovely example of the marque. It has been very well looked after throughout its life which shows in the way it both presents and drives.
It has been carefully prepared both mechanically and cosmetically, has an advisory free MOT until September next year and is ready to drive away.
