Vehicle Description
Cult Classics are proud to present for sale this incredibly low mileage example, of what was at the time, the fastest production 4 door saloon in the world, the Bentley Continental Flying Spur.

The Car
Finished in Barmato Green with Saddle hide interior, our Flying Spur has had just 2 previous owners and has covered a mere 13465 miles.
It spent the first 9 years of its life in Jersey before coming to the mainland in June 2014 with just over 10,000 miles on the clock. Once here, it spent a large proportion of its life in storage, seeing only the most sparing use, resulting in just over 3000 miles being added to the odometer.
Despite the incredibly low mileage, it has nine service stamps in it’s book, all from Bentley, the last one being a Major service at Bentley Bristol November 2023, making it a Full Bentley only Service History.

The Drive
We would genuinely struggle to name another car that can do what a Bentley Flying Spur can do. It is absurdly fast and is more than capable of humiliating all but the very quickest of supercars yet can transport 4 passengers and all their luggage across a continent in private jet esque luxury.
Powered by its glorious 6.0litre twin turbo W12, that produces 552bhp, enough horsepower to catapult this 2.5 tonne limo from a standstill to 60mph in just 4.9 seconds and then onto a scarcely believable 195mph!
Another surprise is the way it handles, you would expect it to be a kin to piloting a large yacht but in reality it is sharp and precise with taut body control and a nice meaty steering feel. One thing that is of no surprise is the ride, which is silky smooth thanks to the variable damping and self leveling air suspension. All of this, combined with the fact that the flying spur sends its power to all 4 wheels makes it a truly beguiling car to drive.
It goes without saying, of course, our Bentley drives totally without fault.

The Exterior
Our Bentley looks every bit the quintessential British luxury saloon, finished in its classic Barmato Green paintwork, it just exudes quality and class. It also presents beautifully with arrow straight, dent free panels and a mile deep shine.
All the chrome trim is in excellent condition as is the traditional Bentley Matrix grille and winged “B” badges.
There are just 2 minor imperfections in the shape of a small crack on the edge of the rear bumper and some light delamination to the side window quarter lights.
The optional 19” 8 spoke alloy wheels are all in near perfect condition and are wrapped in a matching set of Pirelli P Zero Rosso tyres. The tyres all have well over 5/6mm of tread left but are dated from 2012, we have left them on the car as to add to its provenance and low mileage, however we would be more than willing to replace them as part of the asking price should you desire.

The Interior
Open any of the vault like doors and you are presented with a sea of leather and Burr Walnut. The two materials are everywhere from the beautifully sculpted dashboard to the seats, to the centre console, to the door panels, even to the headling and it is all carried off so effortlessly, creating a feeling of true luxury, once behind the wheel, you’re constantly reminded that you’re piloting a very special car.
In contrast to the very traditional craftmanship and materials there is a lot of modern tech, such as keyless entry and start, electronic handbrake with move off assist, electrically adjustable seats with massage / heating and cooling, front and rear, four zone electronic climate control, infotainment system with satellite navigation and our favourite bit of opulence, the glass solar panel sunroof that powers ventilation fans when stationary to maintain the interior temperature!
Due to the very low mileage and owners, our Bentley displays next to no wear and tear inside and everything appears to work just as it should. Lift up the drivers arm rest and there is even the original Nokia 8100 phone sitting in its cradle! The only thing to mention is the headling is in the early stages of 'sagging' at the very rear of the car.
Moving to the vast boot, again everything is clean and tidy with the spare wheel, warning triangle and tool kit all present and correct.

Documentation
The Bentley comes with both keys, V5, leather bound owners handbook, original stamped service handbook, leather wallet containing Sat Nav CD-Roms for UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Scandinavia.

Conclusion
So, summing up, this is an incredibly rare opportunity to own a Bentley Flying Spur, one of the finest four door, high performance luxury grand tourers made, with just 13,465 miles on the odometer!
It has been cosmetically and mechanically prepared to the highest standards, it has just been serviced at Bentley and comes with an advisory free MOT until September next year.
As with all our classic and retro cars, we have described the Bentley honestly and with transparency, drawing attention to the good points and the imperfections equally, allowing you to make an informed decision.
Viewing is highly recommended and can be done at our Tewkesbury HQ, Monday to Saturday by appointment.
