ALFA ROMEO SPIDER 2.0 T-SPARK LUSSO – LIGHT RECOMISSIONING PROJECT

Welcome to the sale of this 2001 Alfa Spider, Finished in Blu Lightning with Tan Leather interior it is showing 92576 miles recorded and requires a small amount of work to see it through its next MOT. Whilst the mechanicals are in good condition, it will require a replacement sill, some brake pipes and a CV boot please see previous MOT report and also the underside photo section

Previous MOT Advisories
The last MOT was carried out on 27th April 2022 with the following results
Repair immediately (major defects):
• Front Position lamp not working n/s & o/s (4.2.1 (a) (ii))
• Rear Position lamp not working n/s & o/s (4.2.1 (a) (ii))
• Rear Registration plate lamp inoperative in the case of a single lamp or all lamps (4.7.1 (b) (ii))
• Nearside Rear Brake pipe excessively corroded (1.1.11 (c))
• Offside Rear Brake pipe excessively corroded (1.1.11 (c))
• Offside Front Integral body structure corroded to the extent that the rigidity of the assembly is significantly reduced inner sill (6.1.1 (c) (i))
• Nearside Front Inner Drive shaft joint constant velocity boot split or insecure, no longer prevents the ingress of dirt (6.1.7 (g) (ii))
• Parking brake efficiency below requirements (1.4.2 (a) (i))
Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):
• Offside Rear Brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened inner face (1.1.14 (a) (ii))
• Front Brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened n/s & o/s inner face (1.1.14 (a) (ii))

Drivetrain
The engine starts first turn of the key with no unwanted noises and no warning lights on the dash. The gearbox selects all gears fine and the clutch is smooth with a good central biting point. It’s a nippy and nimble little car to drive It’s full of Italian charm and can’t fail to put a smile on your face!

Body and Chassis
The outer bodywork is in very presentable condition. The Blu Lightning paintwork is in good all round condition with just a few light scratches and stone chips to report, The fabric hood is damage free and functions as it should, there is a small split in the rear screen, this has been repaired with some clear tape.
Underneath is basically sound with only the offside inner sill requiring attention so not a basket case by any stretch! Please see underside photos

The Interior
The inside of the Alfa would benefit from a good clean but is all intact and undamaged. There are no rips or damage to the leathers or carpets and all electricals and gauges work as they should.

Documentation, Keys and Spares
It comes with its V5, 5 keys and alarm remote, Full history/ HPi report and lots of old service / repair invoices.
